Cellulose fiber cement board

An autoclaved cellulose fiber cement flat board, creamy white in colour. It is an asbestos-free board with a smooth surface and a square edge.

Application

It is tough and flexible, an ideal choice for many general building purposes, including ceiling, fascia board and wall partitioning, both internally and externally.

Advantages

Non hazardous to health: 100% asbestos-free, durable, dimensionally stable, impact and abrasion resistant, surface finishes versatility, rapid installation, virtually maintenance free, cost effective

CFC boards are 100% asbestos free in composition.

These autoclaved composite materials are made from specially treated high grade cellulose fibre, Portland cement, refined sand & water.

Boards are extensively used in residential, institutional, commercial and industrial buildings, as:

  • Fascia/Siding,
  • Internal Lining and Wall Partitioning
  • Ceiling
  • Soffit and Eave Lining
  • Substrate for flooring
  • Fire and insulation applications
  • Decorative and innovative applications
  • Roofing

Non Hazardous to Health

  • 100% asbestos-free.
  • A good safe working practice is adequate when working on the products - no special precaution needed.

Durable

  • Resistant to rot and water damage.
  • Not affected by termite or other insect/vermin attack.
  • When installed and used correctly, it does not crack or warp.

Dimensionally Stable

  • An autoclaved composite material with a stable crystalline structure which is resilient to changes in temperature and humidity. Less shrinkage compared to air-cured products.

Impact and Abrasion resistant

  • Does not succumb easily to physical damage or scratches on the sheet surface.

Fire Resistant

  • Does not burn easily

Surface Finish Versatility

  • Readily accepts a wide range of surface finishes, e.g. acrylic, emulsion, lamination, ceramic, stones, marble, etc.

Rapid Installation

  • Light weight, easy to handle.
  • Ideal for dry construction method. No wet trade involved. Reduces messiness at job site.

Maintenance

  • Virtually maintenance free - cost effective
